JUNIOR CONSULTANT - PMO

Salary range: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)

 

ROLE

The Junior Consultant will support project teams across the business from project setup through to delivery, reporting and closeout. The successful candidate will be provided the opportunity to be involved with, and actively contribute to, multiple concurrent projects, developing the experience and being provided with the training to kick start a successful career in project management and consultancy.

 

The role will include involvement with the full spectrum of the business including Sales, Marketing, Project Delivery and Business Operations.

  • An open approach to technology with a range of experience in the use of Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Google Apps and other cloud-based environments
  • Must have a degree in business and/or technology related field

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience of working with a wide range of network technologies and associated services (active networking, virtual server environments, wireless, IP telephony etc.)
  • Understanding of technical principles and protocols associated with large scale user environments
  • Experience of working on ICT projects and the principles of project management
  • Project Management certifications or qualifications (these will be available through the 9ine training and development plan if not already achieved)

 

INITIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To develop a detailed knowledge of 9ine’s service model, the solutions we provide and the way we work
  • Project Management Office (PMO) to support project delivery teams
  • Reporting on business wide resource scheduling & utilisation
  • Development and analysis of management information
  • Liaison with Sales & Marketing team to develop marketing literature and support sales campaigns
  • Office and business administration
  • Organisation of internal 9ine events/socials

 

OUR ASSESSMENT PROCESS TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION THE FOLLOWING:

  • Evaluation of covering letter and CV. If successful;
  • An initial telephone interview. If successful;
  • Interview with Managing Director and/ or Practice Director
  • 360 discussion with three or more current 9ine staff. In these discussions you will have an opportunity to ask what it is like to work at 9ine and what we do.
  • Presentation and final interview.
