The two-day course covers:

  • A general overview of GDPR, including changes to existing legislation and quick-win tactics.
  • How to prepare effectively for GDPR, and how to stay compliant.
  • An introduction to the governance framework for GDPR in schools.
  • Practical examples of cyber security threats and data mapping.
  • How to complete Data Protection Impact Assessments.

The comprehensive five-day course covers:

  • GDPR and privacy legislation.
  • Information governance, risk management and security.
  • Implementation of GDPR.
  • Practical implications of GDPR in schools.
  • On-going remote or onsite quality assurance and support.
  • Independent APMG exam.
